Monsoonal Poetry

city walls

i wanted to chase
and collect rainbows
i looked for those glows
over the city walls
till i slowly fall
to the black blacker and
the blackest
melancholia of the thickest
dry sky
lack of thoughtful clouds
to nourish the dusty grounds
the monsoon has to come
without rain
there would never be rainbows
to open the city doors
dance me to the end of love
i will be the same, like now.
