The masquerade

I look exhausted.

Un plucked eyebrows,

But the hair, endows!

Sunken eye balls,

Dark circles, the walls.

I look exhausted.

My lips, red, but now weathered.

Waited, too long, for your words.

I shall hold this, masqueraded body.

Tenderly, after years, many!
